Tour: BIPV Installation at the U of T Scarborough Campus

As part of the Building Science Association of Ontario (BSAO) initiative, we are pleased to collaborate with EllisDon to coordinate a site tour for BSAO members at the University of Toronto Scarborough campus. The purpose of this tour is to observe the installation of the Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) system in a real-world setting.
This initiative supports BSAO’s mission to foster knowledge exchange and professional development within the building science community. It aims to provide members with direct, hands-on experience with innovative envelope technologies, including BIPV systems, and to enhance their understanding of their design, installation, and integration into practical projects.
BSAO sincerely appreciates EllisDon for granting access to the site and facilitating this valuable learning opportunity. We also extend our gratitude to the entire project team for their collaboration and dedication to advancing technical expertise within our industry.
Please note: The installation is currently in progress, and the tour will be conducted outdoors. Participants are advised to bring their own full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Weather conditions and potential adjustments to the installation schedule may affect the date of the tour.
