ROCKWOOL Manufacturing Facility Tour

Join the BSAO TMU Chapter for a visit to the ROCKWOOL manufacturing facility on October 15th, 2026.
Step outside the classroom and experience building construction and materials firsthand. During the trip, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Tour the ROCKWOOL plant and see how stone wool insulation is manufactured.
- Learn from industry professionals and gain insight into building construction and assemblies.
- Meet and network with students from neighbouring schools.
- Get hands-on experience building a mock-up wall.
- Enjoy food and refreshments, with all materials and supplies provided
Whether you're interested in building science, engineering, architecture, construction, or simply want to learn more about how buildings are put together, this is an opportunity to see the process firsthand.
Spots are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Confirmation emails will be sent to selected participants to secure their spot. Don't worry if you don't hear back, all applicants will be put in a waitlist.
